Terms of use.
For yourwindowseat.com. Trips you book, with Jon or through a partner, are covered by that provider’s own terms.

1. Who runs this site
yourwindowseat.com is operated by Theme Park AG, a Swiss Aktiengesellschaft registered in the Commercial Register of the Canton of Zürich. Full company details are in the imprint.
2. What yourwindowseat is
yourwindowseat is a travel site: stories told from the window seat, points-and-miles guides, and an introduction to a travel advisor. It is not a travel agency, and it does not sell or book travel itself.
Jon Nickel-D’Andrea is an independent travel advisor with Fora Travel. He is not an employee or agent of Theme Park AG, and Theme Park AG does not act for him. This site introduces him and links to him; anything you agree with him is between you, him and Fora Travel.
3. Bookings
Trips you plan with Jon Nickel-D’Andrea are booked through Fora Travel, under Fora Travel’s terms. Bookings made through partner links, such as Tripadvisor or Viator, are agreements between you and that partner or the provider it connects you with. Theme Park AG is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for the travel services booked.
4. Travel and money information
Stories and guides are general information, based on the writers’ own experience. Prices, schedules, availability, points values and credit card terms change often: check with the provider or the card issuer before you book or apply.
Where we show a price, we say when we checked it. That is a starting point, not an offer: the provider’s live price, availability and terms at the moment you book are the ones that count.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. We are not a financial adviser, broker or intermediary, we do not assess whether any product suits your circumstances, and the credit cards shown are the ones we have a link to — not a survey of the market.
5. Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book, sign up or are approved for a card through one, Theme Park AG may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always labelled; how we earn explains the details.
How that works in practice: when you follow one of those links, the partner records that you arrived from here — usually with a cookie on its own site — and pays us if you go on to book. Each partner sets its own window, and some credit us only if you book in the same visit. That is between us and the partner: it changes nothing about what you pay, and it is not a reason to use one link over another. Nothing on this site is ranked or recommended because it pays better, and how we earn sets out the whole arrangement.
If you reject cookies on the banner, the script that turns some links into affiliate links is never loaded. Everything still works; we simply may not be paid for that visit.
6. Acceptable use
You may read yourwindowseat.com and share links to it. You may not:
- Attempt to interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site without prior written permission
- Use automated systems to harvest the site’s content in bulk or to republish it. Crawlers that respect our robots.txt are welcome — search engines and AI assistants alike; we would rather be read and cited than not. Ones that ignore it are not welcome
- Submit false, misleading or malicious content through the site’s forms
7. Content and intellectual property
Texts, photos and design on yourwindowseat.com belong to Theme Park AG or to their authors, and are protected by Swiss and international copyright law. The yourwindowseat name and logo belong to Theme Park AG. You may not reproduce, redistribute or create derivative works from the site’s content without prior written consent, except for short quotations with attribution as permitted by copyright law.
8. Pitches, guest stories and the newsletter
If you send a pitch or a story, you confirm that it is your own work and that you may publish any photos you include. If we publish it, you keep your copyright and give Theme Park AG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish it on yourwindowseat.com and in its newsletter, including edits for length and clarity. Anything beyond that we agree with you in writing.
We are not obliged to publish anything, we may decline a pitch without giving a reason, and we may edit or take down a published story. If you write for us and later want your story removed, ask and we will.
The newsletter is free and you can unsubscribe from any issue. We may change it or stop sending it.
9. External links
The site links to third-party websites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
10. No warranty
yourwindowseat.com is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or availability of the site or its content. We do our best to keep it current; we don’t guarantee it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, Theme Park AG and its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of yourwindowseat.com, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Swiss law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this address, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of yourwindowseat.com, are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Zürich, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection venue rules.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the Theme Park AG contact form.
